CHIARA LORDI
Biography
Chiara Lordi is a 23-year-old Italian-Scottish singer-songwriter and classical pianist, known for her expressive songwriting, bilingual artistry, and rich classical foundation. Raised in Scotland and classically trained at the City of Edinburgh Music School and the Royal Northern College of Music (RNCM), she recently graduated with first-class honours and began her Master's at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland.
Chiara has performed across the UK and Italy — from Steinway Hall in London and Edinburgh’s Usher Hall to Teatro Manzoni in Cassino. She has appeared on Channel 4’s The Piano, performing for Lang Lang and Mika, and was a semi-finalist in the 2024 BBC Young Classical Musician of the Year, with performances broadcast on BBC Radio Scotland and Radio Cassino.
Her genre-blending concerts — including a sold-out show at the 2024 Edinburgh Fringe — showcase her ability to move effortlessly between classical repertoire, pop covers, and original songs. She regularly appears as a singer-pianist at venues including the Balmoral in Edinburgh.
Whether in English or Italian, Chiara captivates audiences with her warmth, emotional honesty, and musical versatility.
